“Kickin’ It” camp provided fun introduction and training for young soccer fans

By Cheryl Senn More than 50 kids, ages 5-12, were able to hone their soccer skills or play for the very first time, at the second annual Kickin’ It free soccer camp, hosted by Sanger Community Church. The free camp was held at the Sanger Academy Charter School playing field, from 9 a.m. to noon….

Cheryl Senn is a freelance writer and photographer who has lived in the community of Sanger for more than 20 years. She is the mother of two daughters, Althea and Xena. Cheryl volunteers her time, in the community, in a variety of ways. She has been a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) leader for more than 15 years.
